Just download, install and login with the username and password you received in our welcome mail.
Once installed you can switch locations, easily connect and disconnect, view stats and much more.
Below you can find a step-by-step manual to configure a L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) VPN connection manually on Windows XP, 2000 or 2003 in only 17 steps:
Follow these simple steps to install VPN on Windows XP, 2000 or 2003 using the L2TP protocol.

Click Start menu and then Control Panel.
2Choose – “Network and Internet Connections”. If you can’t find “Network and Internet Connections“, then “Switch to Category View“

Choose – “Create a connection to the network at your workplace“
4Choose – “Virtual Private Network connection“

Fill in a random name for the VPN connection
6Fill in the VPN server hostname (you can find these in our Welcome Email)

Click – “Finish“
8Click on “Network Connections“

Right click on the VPN connection you just created and choose “Properties“
10Go to the “Networking” tab and select “L2TP IPSec VPN” from the dropdown menu

Go to the “Security” tab and click on “IPSec Settings…“
12Enable “✓ Use pre-shared key for authentication” and fill in the Key: instant4vpn
Then click “OK“ -

Click on “OK” again
14Right click on the VPN network you just created can choose “Connect“

Fill in the username and password which you can find in the Welcome Email we sent and click on “Connect”
16It will now verify your login details

You are now connected!
First connection usually takes not more than a minute. After connection you should now see the VPN connection successfully established.
Now all your traffic is secure and you are 100% anonymous!
